No. I don't need to for one, and two I'm lazy. I enjoy getting all sweaty and pumped up, but when there's no one to do it for, or with, it's boring.

I probably should get into a routine for that, though. It'd be freeing considering just how much I do NOTHING, even at work.

I felt the urge to draw, this is what came out. IT'S SO FREAKING COOL LIKE OH MY GOD IT IS NO SERIOUSLY IT IS. >_>

Why? Check out the lower right corner. Aki still resembles her mother, Aihiiru, but they don't look identical. FREAKIN AWESOME RIGHT? What's funnier is that you can see my DBZ influence in this picture. Look at Werewolf Aki, she's so... Super Sayajin 4. O_O

Sometimes I wonder if I had the time and the patience, I could make truly awesome work compared to this drek.

Here's my latest works. They don't feel as awesome as they should. I feel as if I cannot draw something well worth my life. Everything is coming out as mediocre. When I pick up my pencil and go at it I feel like I'm working a forumla and guessing at what goes in it. I can't tell if X = 3, 5, 1,040,503 or -25i. Translation: I feel like I'm drawing blind. I mean I know what's there. I mentally know the muscles, where they're at, and what they do, but I can't seem to... draw them. It's like knowing vocabulary without knowing grammar. What good is knowing the components if you can't put it together?

It's bothering the living fuck out of me and I'm not sure how to cure it. All I know is that it's really, really annoying.

Have you ever had a moment where suddenly everything clicked?

Yeah, totally happened to me today.

See I've been told my pictures are too flat. I didn't get it, to me they were 3d enough. Then a kind guy on CA showed me how to draw in 3d. He was kind about it, showed me examples, and even wrote in a tutorial on how to draw heads.

I spent all night last night working on them. I could not for the life of me understand what he meant. Carving into a 2d sphere? What? No, not possible.

Then while I was at work I noticed something. I could hear my brain go "SHIT I GET IT NOW." It felt like a faucet that had been rusted shut was finally open. I could see in 3d, sense it, and I felt I could finally draw it.

So here I am. I've been home for about four hours, and I've spent at least an hour or two just drawing. I mean... here lemme show you.

Does that mean I can suddenly be super profession lykeomg? No. What it does mean is that the glass ceiling finally shattered. I've felt it before with Japanese, and now it's with drawing.

I'm sure I'll hit another ceiling, but for now, it feels like I'm finally free.

I just had a long phone call with Shannon (shannoni). Lordy loo from crying to laughter to any topic, we talked about it.

Which comes to my next point... SOP. I send it out tomorrow night or Monday, I get a strict review for it tomorrow from dad then it's gone. I haven't worked on the old nor new one much, but this is what I've got. I need some serious, serious help because I cannot find a way to write this thing. I read that I need to write this in such a way that JET would want me, but I don't have the experience nor the skillset for me to showcase any skills I have. In other words: other candidates are better for this program than I am and I don't know what to say to prove that otherwise.

Below the cut is my new SOP based off of a few questions/an outline Beth threw at me. I can feel it's way better than the first one, but I need your discerning eyes to see if there's something I'm missing/writing wrong.

( God I hate writing these. I hate this as much as I hate suggestive selling and people that aren't true to themselves. )
